Our Founder
Jim Gillin established the company in 1975 recognizing that the local electrical industry in Maryland needed affordable, custom solutions. An experienced metal fabricator by trade, he always emphasized caring about his clients, and making sure they were taken care of.
Our Projects
After more than four decades of service, J.M. Gillin Electrical Enclosures has earned a solid reputation for providing superior solutions to even the most complex projects with short lead times. We have worked hand in hand with local electrical contractors on routine projects and with large engineering firms on massive projects. These include the Washington and Baltimore Convention Centers as well as the Washington Metro Center.
One of our more challenging projects was the design of a revolutionary system of submersible electrical enclosures for new Disneyland water rides. We worked closely with Disney Engineering to dream up and create enclosures that fit a unique set of extremely demanding specifications.
